9/6/23: Just when you've defeated a very difficult level after spending too much time collecting items then using 'em, it stops functioning & won't give prizes or end the level. Great way to spoil the win! 7/4/23: It's great until you get to World/Stage 3. You have to do complicated things otherwise you have to pay or you won't be able to play.

The first 2 world are good, and it seems like you have a lot to work towards. After I beat the 2nd world however, the game got progressively slower, with time locks that can be bypassed with in game currency. Overall a very good game, and I had fun for 2 and a half of the games world's. Not going to bother beating the 3rd, as it would be too much of a time sink for very little progress.

This game is fun. There is a lot of different challenges and things to accomplish. I down graded it 1 star because in order to get to world 3 you have to spend 50 tournament medals. It takes forever to collect them. I've been playing every day for about 2 months now and have only collected 6. If there were maybe other options to collect them or maybe even if you didn't rank in the top 4 or whatever you could still at least get 1 medal would help out.

The game is great overall! The stages are adequately challenging; it's enough to keep you engaged every level. Also, there are a lot of really good events you can take part in. I think the only problem here is that the heroes are too expensive and there aren't a lot of opportunities to earn more gems other than buying them with real money. This also makes it harder to unlock other worlds. Some price adjustments would be nice. But, other than that, I'm really addicted to this game.

TLDR - it's a fun game, but there's no way to play it for longer than a few weeks without spending significant amounts of money. Made it through world 2 without spending anything and then bought world 3 for $1.99, which seemed fair to me. Towards the end of world 3 though, it's impossible to get through missions without spending money. I wouldn't mind a bit of a grind, but you can't replay old missions to boost your heros' experience levels. You can collect resources through playing daily missions so there technically is a way to get further without using money, but you would have to wait for weeks or even months between missions so there is no real point in that.

Used to be a good game that's jumped the shark. It's free to play friendly if you spend years playing. Lately, the amount of time watching ads has become greater than the actual game play time if you don't do as many tournament runs. Events were a way to bring novelty and add heroes to the game that you could play with during the event. Now, it's a rehash of Realm Siege where the new heroes can't even stay alive to complete.

Fun, but holy pay wall Batman!! Yes it is free to play, but it is also pay to win. Instead of gradually increasing difficulty, it tosses you a bunch of softballs, then next level you don't even remotely come close. Sure you could grind, but a months worth of grinding for 1 level? No thanks. Look for the canned "we will optimize gameplay" response below
