After years of Hearthstone I've been looking for a decent alternative, on PC I found MTGA overly complicated, with poorly worded text on the cards and cumbersome mechanics1. Eternal seems to have got the balance just right using mechanics from both. Looking forward to getting my middle ages teeth into this.

Cool concept that could have been pushed further, good flavor, and mechanics that are the worst buts of magic the gathering. Very swingy game play, too often drawing or starving in mana. Duels are rarely balanced, and you either destroy your foe or get punished for drawing cards or destroyed by a flock of 30/30 flies. I'm not angry, just disappointed.

Speaking as someone with very little disposable income. If it weren't for the awful shuffle, this game would be rated way higher. Progress against ai is locked by having the player draw only sigils or units and spells that cost way more than you have available. Inability to mulligan more that once against ai makes no sense. A loss is mostly guaranteed if you get 2 bad hands in gauntlet or forge. Was a great experience until hitting master in both.

I am absolutely addicted to this game!!! I've been playing every day since I found it!!! I see people complaining about the money, but most of the stuff can be bought with game money: all you need is to play more (which I do). They look too expensive at the beginning but they get quite easier to collect once you get the ropes. The stranger decks may be a little more op than they should, but overall it's well-structured. Looks great visually too.

This free-to-play really is as great as advertised. Tons of cards, easy ways to get free packs/cards every day, lots of play options, frequently updated, and no ads to interrupt the fun. What more could anyone want? I have been and will continue to play this daily. Thanks for making this awesome game!

Great collectible card game, one of the best available on phone. It is pretty generous in card acquisition, has a cool single player mode to learn the game in depth, as well as nice limited formats. I find the graphic design sometimes lacking, but it is purely a personal impression.

Of any major card game, Eternal has been calculated to give the most free cards/value. The mechanics are unique and there are always multiple strategies to win. I've never spent money on the game, am a casual player, and have most the the cards and unlocked all of the expansions.
