Meh... Ok, i went back and played for another hour or so. Still doesn't thrill me, combat is simple Rock paper scissors no real strategy once you know what unit to kill which enemy the fastest. Didn't hold my interest, but it's free, so there's that. I gave you three starts as my initial eating of one was harsh. The game isn't bad it's just not interesting.

It starts out being fun, but as soon as you start playing online games you just continually get smashed by players who bought the units that'll roughly take you a year to save up for. Those units are overpowered, taking away the exact thing that balances out the races you can choose. Online games are also the only way to make money so new players are screwed regardless. And due to the lack of complexity and apparent lack of any form of customization it just gets really old really fast.

By far my favorite multiplayer, strategy game on my phone. Simple, yet so much depth of strategy. Custom maps make every game unique, play solo, with friends or random online matches. You can access everything for free, paying just takes out ads, gives customization options and makes planning your turn less tedious. Only criticism is subscription rather than just buying the game, id pay $20-$30 for it, but on principle refuse a monthly subscription for a simple app game thats not adding content.

This game is the best! I like everything about this game but the only thing that i hate is the crash issue, i hope it would be fix asap. EDIT: Maybe this is late but i actually found out a way to stop the crashing issue, you can tell this to other people too. Just clear the data and the crashing is gone. Also the accounts wont be gone too. This phone is really broken so i only use a guest account. Thank you for the fast response.

When it told me I have to pay you to not play ads, after prompting me to watch ads at the end of the 1st 2 levels, I uninstalled immediately. I am not opposed to a system that grants me a mandatory menial amount of extra rewards for playing the ad (that will be muted & I will never pay attention to) but to try and force me to do any thing is the equivalent of saying "Please knock my teeth out". Your app does not belong on my device.

The game itself is really nice and great to play on a daily basis when you actually have everything that you could get with the coins gotten from watching advertisements but the fact that you cant access all the units in the game without going through these hoops is abysmal and because of it I no longer would recommend this game, after all, it's hard to get into a game thats supposed to be about strategy when other players have more tools than you. Also this new Uniwar pro is grossly overpriced.

Found this gem years ago when I was looking for a chess app. And I never downloaded any actual chess app after opening Uniwar. ;) The mechanics can seem a bit much at the start, but the slogan "easy to learn, hard to master" still holds True. Also, there's no "leveling up" of any kind. Like with chess, the only difference between beginner and veteran is player skill. Any units that are "ad-walled" at the start can (alternatively to Pro membership) be ad-freed with -grindable- Unicoins.

I only played campaign for now, getting to know the races. I really like the game, I can't wait to try it with my friends. Good races with different playstyles. I don't like that some units are locked, not sure if that's the case in online game. Really adictive game for easy turn base strategy.

Decent game, but they locked the "undo" button behind ads. It's a touch screen game, sometimes your thumb misses the right spot... this is going to lead to frustration, and it is amplified by the fact that I purchased the game. That's a rude call by the devs. Update: they end your ability to earn coins for playing the game after about 10 games. Units cost 1k coins to unlock, ads give 5 coins. Response: I purchased the game, THEN you removed QOL features.
