It used to be a really good app. Now they force you into opening a savings account prior to any loan. Albert has now become a bait & switch scam app!! It also says you can receive "up to" $250. I've been on this app for few years. Ive had excellent repayment history. To this day I've never been offered anything close to that dollar amount. What a joke! DO NOT DOWNLOAD IT!!!

I would agree with other users that this app is predatory and not user friendly. Initial setup pretty much forces you to agree and subscribe to things in the app you don't really want in order to even use it. The auto invest took money even after I switched it off and now I'm trying to close my account, but have $3 from the "investment" part that says is unsettled and is in limbo somewhere I guess. It's pretty frustrating. Would not recommend this app to anyone.

Was charged $179.00 for a yearly subscription when I only started using the app in October! Hasn't been 3 months. I asked for a refund, which came in about a week. Also I don't understand why I keep getting charged these like small amounts here and there. When I thought you only had one subscription fee

Thought it would be a great app. Turns out I was wrong, I mean having them set up an automatic deposit account and I never authorized such a thing. Talking to their support team is useless because they won't listen. My advice don't download this app, I'm closing my account with them and notifying my bank to not allow them into my bank account.

This app is PURE EVIL, do not trust. To even log in to see my account I had to agree to a $180 yearly subscription. It is possible to cancel but the menus to do so are EXPLICITLY confusing. This app is Designed to trick poor people into accidentally paying for a subscription when they are in their list desperate moment. This company is EXPLOITATION in the worst ways imaginable.

Avoid Albert at all costs. It will keep deducting money from your account. You'll turn off automatic transfer & it will reset taking funds every 2 days & you cannot get access to them. Customer Service is no help, giving generic pre-typed responses with no specific answers. They will not turn off the automatic transfer as they say you have a savings transfer pending(this pending transfer does not show anywhere in the app).

STAY FAR AWAY: This company offers $35 to be paid back in 10 days, but you have to take their subscription ($14-$140). They will take money from your account and invest and do numerous things not asked for the reason of locking you into their service long enough to be charged for their next subscription fee. Things like pulling money and investing it and telling you you can't cancel your subscription til you pass all the barriers and requirements they've set

Used to be a nice way to spot cash, changed to requiring a $15/mo subscription to get it instantly or free for 1-3 day delivery. EDIT: the entire app/account now requires this useless subscription . Absolutely terrible. Logging into the app tries to force you into signing up with a ton more of their trash so you have to close and reopen it. There are much better apps for this sort of thing. Albert has only gotten worse in attempts to bilk you out of money.

this app is ridiculous. i signed up and began going thru the steps, which is a pretty lengthy process. got halfway thru and it kept repeating the same step over and over. so i backed out completely, and it made me start over at the beginning. so i did it again, same thing happened at the same spot. 10 solid minutes of my life i will never get back. thanks for nothing.
