Can't find a simple address in a large urban center less than 5km away. What can I say, I'd love to go open source for maps. This one's just not good

Great for creating gpx tracks and has a ton of off road trails mapped.

We used the OsmAnd App from Johannesburg to Cape Town. it's really accurate. I will recommend anyone to download the App before heading to that new places you have seen before

What good is a maps app that doesn't allow you to enter an address? It's totally pointless and useless, uninstalled immediately.

I cannot get navigation to work without it suggesting I have to pay for premium to have more map downloads. I deleted the downloaded maps to try to navigate a 200 mi route, and it doesn't allow me to download anymore. I would be willing to pay for premium, if I like the product, but I can't even try the product to see how it works.

It seems after every update the app crashes at startup. This latest update is no exception. It's a great app when it's working. UPDATE: The app crashes and exits before I can access any menu. I searched internal & SD card for a file called "logcat". Not found anywhere. UPDATE #2: Uninstalled and reinstalled. Same thing. Crashes on startup.

Thank God, a way better alternative than Google Maps and all the other bad navigational apps out there. I live in an area with horrible cell and gps service, but it seems like this app is magic. I highly recommend downloading all your maps. Their offline mode works 100% without any cell data needed, but you still need an internet connection to download the maps in the first place.

For me it doesn't work with Android auto since the app seem not to implement pepper permission requests. Unlike Google maps there is no way to grand location access for "all the time". I can only give it permissions to access location when "the app is open", but it feels that during operating under Android auto mode the app doesn't register itself as open, so it can't get GPS data. I'd appreciate some help in this area if possible. Thank you!

For how I use a GPS, this is by far the best option. I can plan trips on some other desktop app, import those trips as GPX files, and follow them. This is the only app I've found that can do this without you having to jump through hoops. Can record a GPX too and you can share tracks. Lots of options in the app too, well thought out. Slightly steep learning curve, but worth the effort.
