This is a great app, and made especially so by the fact that you can use a USB connection. For those complaining about connection issues over WiFi, that is likely interference, or an issue on YOUR LAN. For those discussing the black screen issue, be sure that you read ALL OF THE INSTRUCTIONS. You have to install the server on your machine first, start that server, launch the app on your phone, and set a resolution in the app settings that the video conferencing app will accept. Simple.

Video is top notch, Ive tested it with samsung tablet, Moto Phone and the video works perfectly with less processor load than Droidcam. UNFORTUNATELY using a windows 10 PC I cannot get the PC to recognise the phone's microphone. According to Iruin support this is a known issue with Win 10 and they plan to fix it SOMETIME. So until they do, its only getting one star. Once they fix the audio I will willingly give 5 stars

I really love this app, simple to connect and use, its amazing! Like many have noted, the only missing feature would be the ability to zoom from the desktop app. Having to pinch the phone screen is not great (but at least if works) especially if you want to use the back camera to film yourself (e.g. as a webcam). On my samsung, It seems like I can choose between the 2 lenses/camera, but it is not really clear what is going on in the settings, and there is basically 0 information about anything on the developper's website. What is more in the "pro" version? I'd be happy to pay if I knew. Is it just to remove the watermark that pops one in a while? If so, I think I'd rather give them some publicity by leaving it! :D

I'm very pleased with the app it made my conference talks look much better using my phone, I've instantly bought the pro version, you deserve it! One thing I'd love very much would be if the zoom level would be persistent, now I have to always change to zoom level of the camera when I launch the app, that is kind of inconvinient, since I'm not moving the phone between sessions and also the zoom level slider could be present in the app as well, it's the only thing that is only in desktop app :)

After the installation on Windows 10, a process appears in the TaskManager, but any interface, icon or something else is available to control the process, more than that, there is no way to kill the process, only suspend possible, and the restart the PC to kill, and uninstall a application that serves only to spend time, nothig at all, the application on Android does not detect anything (same WiFi, USB debugging enabled, usb cable connected)

Works pretty well, no hassle on WIFI or USB connections on Win10 laptop. On USB I disconnect WIFI and put in plane mode on phone just as a precaution. I use it to record presentations with OBS and it works great. Only problem, it does not seem to recognize USB microphones, only built in mic. As a workaround, I connect the mic to te laptop and record video from Iriun and sound from pc.

Easy to use. Just install Iriun software on the PC, plug the phone and set the USB debugging on. Instant webcam killer! It would be great if we can choose which (back) camera to use. And an option to adjust the picture manually (eg. Turn off auto exposure). But I guess it is impossible with so many phones out there.

Please make video work for Microsoft Teams and it would be 10/10!! Been using this for a few months now to use my phone camera as webcam for zoom calls on my Mac. Seems rare for an app like this to "just work" but it does. No lags, great video quality, no water marks, easy to connect and disconnect. It's glitched once or twice in the past but found that restarting the Mac app does the trick even mid-zoom call. When webcams from Amazon are rubbish and expensive I'm thankful for this free app.

There's a settings panel so you could probably use this to add a text input for ip address and a connect button to save some time. It doesn't mean the auto discovery feature isn't great, just that if you join a foreign network were such packets are blocked, you can't use the app. also, please provide driver uninstallers for your software.
