The bug where firefox fails to open the last session has been unfixed now for years... i've lost 5 sessions now, all with 200~700 open tabs, after opening the browser it just out of the blue boots into an empty session with zero tabs, without any errors. Why do I need a rooted phone to access my old session files from data/data/org.mozilla.firefox/ ?????

Since the latest update, it's completely screwed up my browsing experience. The pages load 2 to 3 times before it settles. It's screwed up the jeyboard as well-it changes languages w/o my input. It freezes on multiple sites whereby,am continuously clicking on an item and it fails to display. I've been with FF since 2003-so disappointed.Have been using Vivaldi x 1.5 yrs and it's faster than FF. Will uninstall FF shortly. Thanks for the web browser screw up.

My screen is flashing as I write this. App will cause your phone to glitch. Playing videos crashes the app half the time. If they do play, it's 10fps. This is basically malware at this point. They've replied to similar reviews from 2 months ago saying they're "looking into it". Sorry, I don't have my entire life for you to figure out how to debug. Get better programmers, like how I'm getting a better browser.

Awesome that we can use addons, but some optimizations are needed. Recently, battery and data usage (while the app is in the background) have been egregious. I have a galaxy s24 ultra and have had to restrict background data entirely for firefox because of this. Its very inconvenient to do this, so i hope they get around to it soon. I hear that their development team is a bit of a cluster, so we'll see. Scummy that you have to opt out of data collection, also.

As a Mercury user, the app is fine enough, extension support is neat, but isn't as great as its desktop counterpart, and misses a few options as well. Such as cookie management. Downloading files on Firefox, no matter if it's desktop or mobile, can be a hit or miss, and even unpredictable at times, and it sometimes struggles with video playback as well, but still, it still has issues that sometimes made it infuriating to use. Still has a long way to go... (Review revised as of 2024-05-07.)

Update:trackingpolicy changed 4m strict to standard. Nothing chang So, it's been so long but each time I waited for an update to resolve this issue. When i open my LinkedIn account. I can see, scroll, interact with UI only on feed. When i click on any profile, post or message, even notification page, a semi transparent gray screen covers the page and everything freezes. The screen is no more accessible. Nothing works. No clicks, no scrolls. It's forcing me to either use my pc or install the app.

the app is literally getting worse and worse. I dropped chrome for some specific reasons and now I'm debating to go back to it. The interface keeps dropping messages, logging me in and out of certain sites automatically, not allowing posting comments in different sites or not allowing me to go back to the site while trying to exit keyboard mode. Yeah, this app definitely sucks on mobile.

Annoying things: 1. When I search for something and press the back key to hide the keyboard (you know, so I can see the suggested sites from my search) instead of just hiding the keyboard, it undoes my entire search to whatever last page I was on. Not helpful! 2. When I click on the URL bar the options to copy/cut/paste don't appear by default, despite it selecting all of URL text by default, it's very hard to actually get this menu up. 3. Opening more than 20 tabs causes notable lag.

It's very unresponsive when you install the app. It asks you some questions, and even though I click on "skip," it doesn't want to skip, and sometimes it goes back to a previous question.. seems intentional. There's no reason for the huge! button to be unresponsive, it even sends you back a question. Then, I have to click on Skip ! which doesn't want to work. Honestly, if this is intentional, it should be illegal.
