Bust music platform ever! Love the multifunctionality between YouTube music and YouTube amazing experience fantastic selection! Few drawbacks need to be proved as soon as possible: know my playlist like the back of my hand I know for sure the shuffle doesn't work :( I wish there be a better organized homepage with simple radio buttons that would suggest music based on your listening history, somehow it feels like the algorithm is not as good as it used to be.

Great music player. Especially with the cross platform playlist from YouTube to YouTube music. The only drawback is when looking through my library or uploads, albums for example. If I select one then return to the previous page it restarts at the very top of the sorting. Having to then scroll all the way back to where I was. Very frustrating

I really don't know what's happening with this app and its been like this since Google music shut down. I pay for a subscription,I download songs. Downloaded songs are meant to be listened offline but actually even online it works pretty badly. Suddenly my songs stop working out of nowhere, it's loading forever and it never actually plays after. It suddenly goes blank entirely. I can't even listen to my music for more than 10 min and then I get sick of it and go to my personal music app.

From a 5 to a 1 : Awful platform for podcasts. It's fine for music - great selection but, in typical Google fashion, it's not consistent with other Google apps in how the interface works (building a que is very different than in regular YouTube) But for podcasts, now that it's the only Google podcast app, it's just terrible. Terrible interface, terrible podcast landing page, terrible to navigate to podcasts within Android auto. Just awful. I'm now envious of iPhone users.

Not ready to be your default podcast player. Takes forever to load an episode, the queue is tough to find, navigation is not intuitive. It rarely remembers where you left off in a podcast and will just restart an episode you paused and didn't finish. It's very disappointing that the UX and functionality as a podcast platform is so bad.

I've gone from a 5 to 1 star with good cause. One of the more expensive monthly music apps with a LOT of faults. - there should be a way to search for duplicates. constantly have doubles or triples of songs I've D/L once. - songs I've liked are constantly unliked. When you re like it again, it adds a duplicate into the list - my download list has NEVER played correctly, wont play in order, plays songs i haven't D/L - songs unplayable so i have to re D/L all the time

Pros: Great wide selection of music. Can access your playlist on your phone, computer etc. Cons: Dislike having to manually play music again. 1st example: ads. Some that are 30 seconds are fine but 10 minute ad in YT music that I have to skip is slightly annoying. Amplifies anoyingness when driving. 2nd example the next song pauses and you have to enter "yes" to "Video paused. Still watching?" I don't want my music to pause out of nowhere.

No queue is insane. You can add songs to a queue, but can't access the queue. If you accidentally hit play on a song instead of adding it to your queue, everything you just added disappears, and a new queue is generated based on the song you accidentally played. No queue is so laughably insane to not have on a music streaming app

I like and appreciate how you can rate a song thumbs up or down and the app tunes further recommended songs based on likes and dislikes. I wish you could add all results or selective results from a song search to a playlist or to be played right away. Autoplay option seems to have returned. I wish the app could use AI to understand listening behavior better because I cannot always press the button to go to a new track or go back.
