Love the community, but the app is a mess. It regularly requires restarting because it either slows down dramatically, or just locks up all together. Doesn't seem to matter if I've cleared the cache or even fully reinstalled the app, it never takes too long for it to become unusable without a restart.

I love Imgur mucho mucho, but this app gives me haemorrhoids. On my Samsung S24 Ultra, it will soon start jerky scrolling and video. Want to click on a notification? This app delivers up a nice grey screen with nothing else to see. Want to see your chats? How about an endless green loading sign instead. Really shonky performance, devs!

Even when using it for its main purpose, to share pictures & video to sites that cannot embed them) it is one of the most buggy apps of all time. You'll get a consistent error that says "Failed to load post" which persists regardless if you upload 12 photos or 1. Truly 1 of the most miserable major app experiences I have had.

Lags consistently and it's horribly optimised in my opinion for any device. You'll find it getting "laggy" for no reason and the only fix seems to be restarting the app. I will continue to use as I've always liked the platform but it needs to be fixed for portable devices as after a while it gets fairly tedious.

How is it that on a high end phone this app can consistently become a jerky mess that causes the CPU to get slammed, the phone to get hot while it repaints at 10fps as I scroll. Every other app I have that scrolls doesn't have to be restarted after 5 minutes so it doesn't grind the entire phone to a halt.

Android experience is utter garbage. The mobile site forces you to download the app to upload anything, and the app simply doesn't work. Uploads never complete. I've reinstalled several times and it's never worked in over a year. Just let me upload from the damn browser site.

Content is fine but the app itself is optimized so poorly I think about Uninstalling it every time it crashes. So about every 5 minutes.

I don't remember to check it often, but on occasion when I do get time I usually find it entertaining. I hope this is seen as a decent review from me, preventing the asking of another one for several months to a year. It's okay but there are other interactive sites that appeal to me more. We all exercise the right to switch or bounce back and forth with zero inquiries as to what influenced our decisions, and I appreciate the casual, friendly stance. Unlike a kid on a bike yelling MA! LOOK at ME!
