I have only been the target for scammers on this platform. Not a single positive experience in 2 years of using it. The app makes no effort to protect the users. Arranged a meeting at a public place to inspect a product and the dude straight up just walked away with it, refused to pay and threatened to pull out a knife if I said anything or stopped him. Filed a police report but there is absolutely no way to enforce anything that occurs through this application.

Why do you keep logging me out from my account on the browser while I clearly have it on keeping it logged in with saving password. Not even going to try the app, have read all the bad reviews, only using the browser but what a mess if you log me out without my knowledge and me waiting for notifications if I have buyers, FOR NOTHING! I was logged in for 2 weeks, am new, but since today you keep making me fill in my login info every time, THAT'S INSANE!

Language is just awful... Half Dutch half English... Doesn't matter what setting I choose... Oh and that corona warning I get EVERY time I use the app... Menu etc already takes up 30% of my screen real estate... Come on guys, you have a great team of designers and developers over there... (Heck, I know a lot of them!) This experience can be easily improved.

Couple of points to be disappointed: 1- if you place your car or motorbike for sale, they auto-extend your advertisement, without a notice. Meaning that they take money from your account without your consent. 2- there is no complain possibility in the app or in the website... no phone number no email adress. Success with getting your money back. 3- it has become quite expensive to sell here something big...20€ for 4 weeks !? Seriously! 4- its full of fraudulent types inside. No filter??

good app, but last update, they removed a bug which made the app permanently into a 'dark mode'. I really liked it through. I would really enjoy a proper night mode! the default mode hurts my eyes at night, even with my brightness turned down

UnUsable/blocked for UK-Phone-users as Marktplaats refuses to accept +44 mobile numbers for verification (...but plenty of other exotic country codes/flags in the dropdown I've never seen before) Without verification, you cannot register, and can't even contact anyone on this App.

Markplaats is a joke. If you want sell an Electric water kettle, for their website, it's a forbidden object. What???... and that's not the only one, there are many other things that are forbidden without a reason!!! The funny thing, is, if you create an ad, and you type the object name, it'll appear in their list, so you think: i can post it, nope, wrong, it's there, but you can't. (and you'll know it after you made the post). Fix your website.

Still a good app for selling your stuff but the amount of advertisements from companies makes it very difficult to find a few real people. When you search for something it's often 80% company advertisements and 20% what you're actually looking for. Used to be better.

Too many "click bait" notifications that are obviously meant to increase your time using the app, and no option to turn them off. I want to get notified when someone messages me, not when an article I previously bought is available again.
