Ich habe diese App auf einem Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 und auf einem Lenovo Pad 7-Zoll, beide mit Android 6.0.1 installiert. Auf beiden brach ein Video nach einiger Zeit ab. Bereits heruntergeladene Daten des Videos gehen dabei verloren. Die in der FAQ beschriebene Methode, die Videoqualität einzustellen, funktioniert nicht, da der Beschriebene Zeichen für Einstellungen nicht angezeigt wird. Die Automatisch gewählte Videoauflösung war hervorragend, was zu stetigem "Buffern" führte. Wenn man das Video anhält (Pause), wird zunächst minutenlang das KIKA-Logo angezeigt, wodurch die App auf nichts mehr reagiert. Die dazugehörige Tonqualität ist unterirdisch. Während der Pause wird unten der Spieldauerbalken angezeigt. Dort würde ich es als angenehm empfinden, wenn auch zu sehen wäre, wieviel bereits heruntergeladen ist, damit man ungefähr weiß, wann es sich lohnt, mit dem Anschauen des Videos zu beginnen. Zeigt Euren Programmierern mal YouTube. Dort können sie vielleicht etwas über GUI-Programmierung lernen. Eine Offline-Funktion halte ich für unerläßlich. Wie man geeignete DRM Verfahren programmiert, kann man bereits in Büchern nachlesen.
